Skin cancer is, unfortunately, very prevalent in Florida and much of
our recourses are directed toward the timely diagnosis and appropriate
treatment of skin cancer. Mohs micrographic surgery is offered at two of
our three locations; Rockledge and Viera. Sun protection is essential and
education is provided to our patients on the best products and ways to avoid the harmful effects of the sunshine.
We also care for patients with "general" dermatologic conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis. Moles, skin tags and other growths on the skin are also addressed by our providers.
The medical aesthetic department provides services such as facials, microdermabrasion, glycolic and PCA peels. Photo rejuvenation through ELOS technology uses intense pulse light to remove age-spots, sun damage pigmentation and facial veins. Non-ablative wrinkle reduction and skin tightening may also be achieved using this technology. Acne and rosacea can also be treated with this "laser".
